Vilas County snowmobile trails will officially close at midnight on Thursday, March 19 due to poor trail conditions. Closure of gates will commence on Thursday, March 19. Thanks for a great season! |
Area cross country ski trails remain in fair condition; while continued freeze/thaw conditions are creating very icy conditions. As warmer temperatures continue, skiers should watch for exposed debris on the trail and rapidly changing trail conditions. Skiers should call either the local chamber office (just click on the "Communities" link at the top of this page) or their accommodation to check current conditions. |
