Vilas County Snowmobile Trails - as of April 1, 2008
Vilas County snowmobile trails closed at midnight on March 31st. Thanks for a great season and we'll be back for the 2008-2009 season in December!
Cross Country Ski Trails - as of March 31, 2008 
Trails remain in fair condition in the shaded areas as the sun exposed sections are showing dirt. Flat sections and corners are worn and remain icy. Grooming is done for the season.
A wintery mix of weather is in the forecast to start April along with daytime highs in the low 40's and partly cloudy/sunny skies for the rest of the week. Late season trail conditions can change rapidly and skiers need to be prepared. Contact the area chamber for current trail information on the trails you plan to ski.
