Lac du Flambeau Area Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing Trails

Powell Trails - Passing by Spring Pond and Sherman Lake, this scenic, easy/beginner trail winds through an area logged off some years ago as well as Bird trails in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsinthrough an area of older timber types. Groomed by the North Lakeland Discovery Center with equipment specific for the trail. Leashed pets allowed on this trail when there is no snow. Length: Trail loops range in length from 1.5, 2.0, 4.5 and 7 miles.
Location: From Manitowish Waters, turn west onto Powell Road (1/4 mile south of the Community Center) and follow 6.5 miles to the parking area.
