Lac du Flambeau Area Birding Trails

Powell Trail - Passing by Spring Pond and Sherman Lake, this scenic, novice trail winds through an area logged off severalyears ago as well as through an area Bird trails in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsinof older timber types. Signature Species: Yellow Rail; LeConte's Sparrow; Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrow

Length: Trail loops from 1.5, 2.0, 4.5 and 7 miles.
Location: From Lac du Flambeau, take Hwy 45 north approximately 9 miles to Powell Rd. Parking is north on Powell Rd.
