St. Germain Area Biking Trails

Shannon Lake - With a mix of easy/beginner and intermediate loops, about half the trail runs through areas logged in 1976 and 2000. The rest of the gently rolling trail meanders through a variety of northern hardwoods. The loop around ShannonBike trails in Sayner, Wisconsin Lake is especially scenic.Leashed pets are allowed when there is no snow. (Click on the trail map for a printable map PDF 133KB.)

Length: Trail loops from 2.3, 3.5 and 7 miles.
Location: From the intersection of Hwy 155 and Lost Lake Rd just north of St. Germain, continue north on Lost Lake Dr to Found Lake Rd. and turn east. Continue to Shannon Lake Rd to a parking area. A second parking area is located on Hwy G approximately 2 miles east of Co Hwy N.


St. Germain Bike Trail - Recently completed Phase I of this paved trail runs from the St. Germain Chamber of Commerce building (Hwys 70 & 155) west along Hwy70 to County Hwy C and north along Hwy C to Plum Creek Avenue. There areBike trails in Sayner, Wisconsin several waysides with water and restroom facilities. This trail connects with the Plum Lake Trail (to the north) and future expansion to the south and east is planned. (Click on the trail map for a printable map PDF 138KB.)

Length: 7 miles.
Location: Trailhead located at the St. Germain Chamber of Commerce building at the corner of Hwy 70 and Hwy 155.
